Hi, I'm Joe Meno - the quick introduction for me is that I am the editor to the LEGO fan magazine BrickJournal, and am happy to be here to talk about the LEGO brick and Company. You'll be seeing posts from my BrickJournal blog here, the BrickJournal Journal, and content from my Facebook account, and some new stuff too.
This is a post I put on my Facebook account last night and thought would be good to include here. On this blog, I want to have material for the new or curious LEGO fan. Most of the other blogs I maintain assume some knowledge of the brick, but I want this one to be an introduction to the hobby and LEGO building community. So without further ado...

One thing that has been a challenge for LEGO builder is lighting. The LEGO Group had lighting sets but discontinued them years ago, with only light bricks for Power Functions remaining. In their place, there have been a few people that have created light kits for LEGO creations.
