'Barracuda'

Execution day and the shackled pirate captains Violent Vinny Arbuthnot and Calico Jack Chinless (see BB 11) are led out from the cells beneath the courthouse to meet the jeers of the crowd. The militia's massed-formation musket-carrying team forms up around them to make sure there's no unsporting attempt to cheat the noose.

Along the quay the gin-palaces and grog-shops are deserted - no one wants to miss a good hanging!

 The aerodrome at Nemandible Parva, another brainchild of Guy Chinless (19th Lord Chinless) the WW1 fighter ace (BB15).

Today it is a service centre for local helicopters, home to a thriving glider club but also the latest enthusiasm of a certain local Lady

 THE MILL

Sir Arnold Grasp's latest project - the Old Mill complex on Sevastopol Street, Nemandible Parva

Dating from the 18th C. the present buildings - millhouse, bakery and shop - were almost derelict despite being  listed buildings, until someone had the sense to ring Lady Lavinia Grasp-Chinless who then rang her husband Sir Arnold.

Today the mill is once more a working historical monument. More than that it is a self-financing, non-profit trust offering much needed employment to a dozen locals and stone-ground, hand-made, home baked organic breads to a rapidly expanding county-wide clientele

A personal project of Lady Lavinia Grasp-Chinless, The Stud, was founded on two float horses put out to grass when Nemandible Dairies mechanised
