And the next one was the 237 racing car. In a sorry state when bought, but nevertheless a good one to restore. In need for a driver and a steering wheel. The raised edges are always tricky spraying, the paint can run off and leave a non painted edge. So a few coats were needed

As bought:

And restored:

Another great restoration there Theo. Your getting better and better at this. The driver looks great and treaded tires look good on it. As to the paint on high or sharp surfaces, try not thinning the paint as much. That usually works for me. You do have to open the oriface more and be carefull not to over spray too much but it does help keep the paint on those hard to paint sharp surfaces.

Thanks Jim, the white comes from a rattle can, so there is nothing to adjust. Next time I shall try white with the airbrush

If it is rattle can paint then all you can do to help it along is heat up the model so it is nice and warm to the touch, not hot. Spray many light coats like this and the paint should stick just fine. I use heat lamps for this and to dry my paint jobs as the infrared light dries the paint from the inside out. Not the outside in like a toaster over but inside out like the sun.

Thanks. Not a very deserved win, if I may say so: According to match stats, Denmark had 3 shotos on goal, 1 of them went in. The Nederlands had 28; 8 on target and 20 off target!!! Denmark defended well, but that's about it - Danish experts say, that the danish defence forced the dutch players to shoot from bad positions, and that's why so many shots missed the goal, but still... 20 shots off target is really a lot! I hope your players improve in the next two games.

Regarding the 2 claimed penalties, I'm kinda split: yes, they could have been awarded and according to normal ruling interpretations they probably should, but... the ball was shot onto the arms of the players, and I personally don't think it's fair to punish a player for having arms! It was not like they were in any way trying to manipulate the ball, they just got hit.

This really is an unfair group, having four teams from the world top 10, so two will have to leave before the next stage. The Netherlands and Germany are two of the top favorites for the championship, have some fabulous players and really should progress, but naturally I also want Denmark to do well.

Oh well, if things go like they usually do, Denmark will probably lose against Portugal and then do the same against Germany, so you should still have a good chance of getting to the next stage, along with Germany, but you MUST win against Portugal!

Well I have no hopes for England doing well. But going by the results of the first few games anything can happen in the funny old game of football.

Well, next time better. I think Denmark is so good because all these players that play in the Dutch Premier League

But I won't let it spoil my sunny Sunday. Back to some more resto jobs, can spraypaint a few models outside because the weather is fantastic at the moment
