had the red/white trailer cheap, I think it needs a Scammel. Anyhoo, trailer needs a few parts and especially a truck.
Hence the Holmes Wrecker donor truck. Whip off the tray and the conversion is complete, albeit everything needs parts and a bit of an overhaul repaint, or at least mirrors and a new window.
A project to complete another day. For now, this\'ll do.

I\'m not sure. They did have one, but this one was with a Scammell instead along with the trideck.

I do have an anomaly variant with a yellow/white Scammell and blue/white trailer - 3rd variant trailer after the Bedfords.

Its interesting to mix and match, but the Holmes Wrecker has this massive cowcatcher that is worth exploiting.

Something to tinker with.

Transporters are great and work as a display case themselves.

Our homebase at work shares a small office at a car/truck depot called Car Haulage.

Hundreds of car transporters bring and take cars imported from the docks that get distributed to dealers in the greater Auckland area or further.

And I see these car transporters everyday, these are simple Asian construction and I just wonder why they don\'t make diecast to reflect the real trailers?

I have had two plastic kitsets, but plastic double deckers are very weak.

I\'ve had a fondness for HGV\'s since an early age spending most of my \'off school\' time on the road with my dad.

car haulers have gone through some massive changes over the years, from the early flat bed trailers, double deck to today\'s multi ramp configurations. I\'m working on a 9 car multi ramp at the moment for the n scale. Give me a couple hours and I\'ll get some pics up.

There was a set with the Ford H cab that had an auto rack and a couple cars, think it was blue? Someone\'s got to have a pic of it....

Cool thing with the Ford H is that it has the red/white as well.

I think it\'ll make a nice code3 project. Add a couple of cars too.

I am doing a few of these cabs in another thread here on the site. I now have all the parts but 2 ladders so I can finish them off. Not that hard a model to work on once you figure out the easy way to open them up.

I was going to e mail you the secret to opening these up and completely forgot. They are very easy to open up, once you have the key...

i love this corgi transporter got one me self.

got the same trailer in that color, but got a Scammell cab. I think this was a transition model after the red Ford H.

that cab is from the ferrymasters model.
