Here's where you can discuss all general diecast stuff - mystery items, ask who made a model of a particular car, ask for info about an obscure manufacturer or chat about anything else related to vehicles smaller than 1:1 scale!

This is what I see and you can see that there are no X's in the two boxes at the top beside Makers. Also no boxes beside each Makers name so I can not open them up to find the makers toys.

Why is TC running so slow and seems to take ages to open up reply box. Signing is taking ages to respond.

Hi James, we've been doing some finishing off on things behind the scenes, speed-wise it should be back to normal now.

Jim, I'm looking into your continued lack of + signs and forum alert email issue.

since using chrome have no qualms...

I agree with Jim that I miss the easy drop-downs from the top row, but don't mind the side-menu's either. both are helpful cosmetically.

Can a 'message in inbox' indicator like a big bouncing apostrophe be added to our profile box?

I feel everybody will benefit with the PMs especially those of us that don't regularly visit the PMs that often.

kinda reminds me about an ancient windows outbox verbal message back in the day when a robot voice declares, 'you've got mail.'

I checked my profile and Receive new inbox message was ticked, so that did not help either,

Hi everybody - when you have a PM, your "me" box with the avatar (upper right hand corner of the screen) grows a yellow border which flashes. Are people seeing this OK and is it noticeable enough to alert you to new pm's?

Yes, I see it and it is quite easy to spot when it flashes. As soon as you open a new page, there it is, flashing about 6 times. Works for me.

Hello Jim,

when I saw your answer in the thread I thought: let's check if I have a new message, no flashing or so whatsoever, sorry. It does not work with Google Chrome I suppose

I sent to you, Gunnerjim and RVREVO. Yours does not work so I assume Richards won't either as he is on Chrome. Jim, are you on Chrome as well? That is probably the problem for you guys as it works just fine in Firefox.
