I wanted to let everyone know that we are now imminently releasing the next version of the site. It should be here tomorrow - you can find the official announcement here.


Rest assured that all your favourite bits of the site (including the forums) will remain the same, just with a bit more streamlining, a cooler new look and a few less bugs!


It does mean that the site will be down for a little while tomorrow (the 24th), so don't be surprised if you're intermittently unable to access it - it'll be back later in the day!

If you report an issue please ensure that you first clear your cache (click Ctrl + F5 a few times) to see if it is just an issue of your machine still showing old code.

I can add from the gallery but it is doing weird things. The left Pane does not work. There is no back button to go back a page from one of my galleries to get to another.


I cannot load up picutes from my computer either.
The picture below comes from my galleries.





Also, how come I always enter at the top of the page instead of the bottom after posting a message like it was before?

This one came from my computer just fine. Wonder why the other one did not.






The picture below is 175 Kb and 800 x 500 and it still won't show. Why?

Jim, that 2nd image has a number so spaces in its URL which means it is not rendering, we will look at it today (the team is exhausted and went to the pub).

It was the # sign that was doing it. I took that out and presto, it works now.


I still pop back in after posting at the beginning of the tread.

5. Still kicks me out twice before the Log In. Doesn't keep me logged in
6. after the post it comes back to the first post. not the last. Its as if it anticipates the last post is to be at the top...



That's just in start up. But its so slow I have already posted at three of my other sites only to find this one still loading.

One thing that is not so good is that I do not seem to get to a post/ reply etc from an e-mail, it always takes me to home page , it was more convenient to click on the e-mail go to post site read comments and then if desired post a reply.

Not that i was able to do this previously from IE9, as the only way I could reply was to go to google and then bring up TC site and then log in, then bring up site and then reply.

Hassle well I suppose so but this PC connection is so slow, I can switch on, start boot and go to the kitchen and make a cup of tea before it is done, and that is just to get to the desk top, superfast broadband it aint, tortoise and the hare?

Just a thought La Toya this is just this forum  across the board I can forsee much tearing out of hair eeeeek

OK, let me see....


Latest Posts - the link to these is in the menu on the left hand side of the page; it's the top option, let me know if you can't see it. 


Speed - some people seem to be having issues with speed of site loading, but it's OK for others, please let us know if this persists for more than 24 hours.


HTML option - we used to have this at the beginning of the site, but if I recall correctly, we had issues with bots using it to spam, so it was removed. Does having it make it easier to do stuff?


I'm now going to submit this post to see what happens and if it takes me back to the top of the page. More in a sec...

OK, me again - I submitted the post, and when it submitted, it took me straight to that post. If you're still experiencing issues with going to the top of the page, can you tell me which browser you're using, please?


Also, I clicked thru a link from the email alert and was brought direct to the forum message. Are people still having this take them straight to the homepage? 


On these 2 issues, and if you are experiencing login problems of any sort, please clear your cache if you haven't done so already, especially if you are a heavy site user, as you may have the old version of the site still cached and this may cause teething troubles.
