Pix - we talked about your BAPRO here before, but I do not remember the Danish one. Nothing like it is shown in the Danske Modelbiler book from 2002. Is it marked Denmark underneath? What about the unknown Swees - are they marked at all?
All 4 of those are great!
Ok, I'll try to explain. I have a contact to a swedish collector. He have one of the biggest collection in Europe displayed in
a Museum. He wrote me about these cars:
In the late forties, there was a probably Swedish firm which made very simple small cast toys. There is no text anywhere on the models. A firm of merchants in Sweden has in their catalouge from 1948 pictures of toys from this firm. They told me that they don´t now know from which manufactory they got the toys, but that the firm was situated i Sweden. The firm made a few racers , one car, one Jeep, one bus, a truck in a few types, a trailer, a small steam-locomotive with one carriage and two different small airplanes. None of the models has a baseplate."
The car on the last picture is probably from Denmark. This is a guess. But he is sure it isn't Swedish
.
Only the blue car is really a Bapro. More about Bapro you'll find on his museum website under "autominologi".
