just saw on the website there are some nice ones to collect and this be the latest 2012 model.


I think I would've preferred the 2 for 1 buses.


I kinda miss how they used to have the distinctive special colours in yellow and blue like the Vanguards. There's no mistake what year or which promo it is.

Hi Richard,sorry it took awhile to get back yes it is 2012 collectors item,I looked at the buses but I,m not really into them.That Landrover looks very nice!The Scania just arrived in a white plain box nothing like the Box you have there its a bit disapointing really!

yeah, Corgi dispatch was a bit clueless back in 1993 as well when I became a member for a year. They mucked up a lot of things like I applied for the 1992 year so I could get the VW van.
They said they'd run out so they had sent the 1993 Calender Bus.
It was in a foam box within a plain white box. Was very disappointing.

Took ten years for me to accept this bus.

Richard I can see why you wanted the VW thats a nice little Van,I see what you mean about the bus its not that appealing really! Sorry to all those bus collectors among us!

Ok then, I'm going to bump this to the top of the list a bit.

From the same local Corgi Collector in town he's selling a lot of the Corgi Collect Club models and I've had first look on these.
So a little deposit on the 1st and 21st Thornycroft van at NZ$22 each along with another '87/'88 Morris Minor van. Another Model T in a much nicer box, The Austin Minivan in the Solido box. Skipping the Morris Traveller this time. At last a Bedford CA van with the all plastic box on green/black diorama stand. A few more doubles.
Passed on the VW van - although its a maybe.
Red Ford Escort van with the only indication with a CC2000 rego.
Two Austin A35 vans, one black Guinness and the other in green. Boring white boxes make them more expensive... where's the logic in that.
All totalled its approx. NZ$300. Maybe less than that.
Its a big chunk off my wishlist.
Usually pick them up after work.

bump it up a bit. will be picking these up later on this week. and for another $22 bucks getting another Land Rover too.

What is it and what year was it made? Info please? As I have never seen these and there is now one within a few hundred miles of me selling these, Please tell us what it is.

I think I've read about this model somewhere... something about re-creating the classic Zephyr with the old fifties style cast.
Didn't know it was an option for CCC, am curious to know more.

yes, my 50th anniversary models were the CA Bedford van and the Morris Minor vans.

Although not sure if they were also Vanguards.

I'll have to ask my mate in Penrose about these.
