I was just scanning the
50 CRANES and thought I noted that after a year or so it goes quiet. Then
honobono-oldtimer and
jclevering, and one of them must've kicked the sleeping dog. Good for ya!
Some great toy cranes and pictures provided by all of you.
300 euros, WOW!! I don't know what the conversion is, but it sounds like a lot lot. Way out of my allowance range....
Some of these cranes have intricate detailing, while others serve the purpose of the sand box or great outdoors. I can relate both ways.
You may have seen this one in an earlier posting of Modification/Restoration. I just wanted to show that it was also worthy of real work.
.....and by the way, note there is no cheating here. The tires(tyres) are not glued to the floor it is what it is and no leverage (jib-bumping for leverage), just free swinging. Don't try this with the original Coles Crane, I have one and it tipped over. The secret is in the steel/aluminium multiple plate body below the crane. The next one may have out riggers, working on it....
