Heya James, I figure you being in OZ byou\'ll be able to get some the old FunHo\'s from kiwi garage sales or something.
Also, FunHo originally began life in the early 1900 in Australia, then they moved the entire factory to New Zealand in the 1930s

Thanks Richard. I didn\'t know FunHo originated in Australia, although I knew they went into production in New Zealand in the 1930\'s. Must follow that up.

Die Cast Promotions Peterbilt 389 with 3 axle lowbed and 6 axle Hyddra-Steer beam trailer in 64th scale.

And a matchbox Collectibles peterbilt 359 with lowbed and Cat loader in about HO scale, maybe even 90th.

The amount of detail and quality parts combined into building some of these exclusive name brands are worthy of praise. One can realise the fact that the larger scale includes finesse in detail compared with finite scale models.

I have just found this Budgie Trucks of the World International tractor and low loader complete with D-8 Cat and ramps in a local Antique Store in Geelong. At $35 Australian I thought it was rather cheap compared with the average price they sell in UK.  Now I have both of them.

The set is in very good condition with only a couple of little paint chips while the rubber tracks and tyres are in very good condition is a real bonus.

Very nice indeed.

I like lowloaders.I have only ever had one and swapped it because i don\'t collect trucks.I wish i hadn\'t swapped it now though.

First Gear Peterbilt 367 tractor with tag axle and 3 axle Talbert lowbed trailer. Trailer has working outriggers for extra wide loads, detachable gooseneck and working ramps to ease loading. Tractor has tilting hood and opening doors. 50th scale diecast with plastic parts.

The truck needed a little detail work to add extra realism, chains, binders and some decals were added.

Here it is with a load borrowed from another truck, a First Gear International TD 25 dozer. The Caterpillar 963D track loader it will be hauling just arrived in todays mail and I haven\'t had time to take pics yet.
