Here are my new scores for today.I went to 3 bootsale/fleamarkets (all the 17p-£1.20 tat) and visited one local collector for the catalog, Anglia and Zodiac body.
The real gems for me a the Arry Potta blue Anglia with the rare 9 x36mm fine tread grey wheels and the red seat gold transitional Muira. Its been a very nice sunday:)

You have an excellent eye for your cars, Richard. I would not be able to identify half of those at least. I do have two Unimogs, among others, but they arethe  Blue and Red Version. You don\'t see the Tan and Blue version often.

Some nice finds there - is the Ford Zodiac convertible shell a repaint or is it original? Looks like a nice Bond Bug too.

got all three variants of the tan/aqua Unimog too. The blue/red Unimog also came with yellow hubs before the most common trans

its only my opinion tho that the Zodiac Convertible is repainted. Makes more sense as the chassis is missing. Its a good match though... but waddahey - its the UK again, right mate?

Richard named all the cars and brands correctly!

The Zodiac convertable is original and very fine, near mint, 4 rubs/chips - I will transplant a basepate from a chipped example that I have. Bond Bug has nice wheel chrome but lots of small chips, but it dont matter as i already have near mint pair in my collection.
White broom stick Porsche 910 is chipped and otherwise 100% original paint, but the yellow Marzal which looks like its been inked has in fact been smeared with blue enamel paint which has mostly but not entirely been wiped off.
The thickly repainted Corgi E-type appears to be peeling back to its glossy factory white primer and I will try to find time to finish the process.........
A lot of Siku VW Caddys were sold in the blister without the canopy fitted, these are not easy to find these days

hehe, Corgi Jag... wasn\'t too sure.

Porsche 910 in white? That\'s a surprise.

Got a VW Caddy with white canopy since new. Should\'ve bought two. Closest to a Jetta I ever saw...

I think I\'m getting rusty in my old age... used to be 95% accurate, that was about 70%. I\'m getting awld.

What colour is your Caddy? I have had around 10 in silver like this and 2 in dolphin blue, and only 1 canopy in the whole bunch although I suspect more than half were sold with canopies
The great thing about internet is that studying photos improves our toy recognition way beyond the levels pre-ebay or pre-toy forums.
Catalog is the no 2 1969 which was updated to include the first Superfast items

We had a toyfair here a week ago. As soon as I spotted one of these castings my heart felt like it wanted to jump out of my chest - and the price 450kr which is £50 these days.....spot the HOLY GRAIL!

well spotted - they only made a few hundred samples, and this was one a box (a dozen??) sold by a classy toy store in Copenhagen c1969 exclusively to their regular customer adult collectors according to one 70y.o. collector that I know who bought one new there - so thats what the Corgi Danish sales rep did with his share of the samples made.........a steal for me at 450kr which is £50 these days. oddly enough another one in its box was sold to a dealer with floor rights I know for £90 , so when I showed mine to him and his friends it was mind blowing when he pulled his boxed one from his pocket and said snap!

Mercedes C111 is by Tin Toys and very nice, looking like a Corgi Rocket was used to create the tool

Mostest Mini would be the find of the year if I hadnt found a Lesney reverse colours wrecker back in March - easily my 2 rarest finds ever and the most heart stopping minutes in my whole toy collecting experience.
2009 has been an amazing year, and with 3 more toyfairs to come its still going to keep getting better! I also found my 3rd Corgi Whizzwheels caramel LHD Cortina GXL which is from a small run of probably no more than 10,000 cars
