One of two old Märklin 1/43 models won on Qxl tonight, taking me to a total of 5 from the  1800-series. Described by the seller as 'lightly playworn' it looks quite good to me (intact license plates are always a good sign). Bonnet + all four doors open and the seatrests tilt... this doesn't sound right for a 4-door model, but Märklin must have been eager to add as many working features as possible. Issued 1969.

The white BMW and this one are very unusual colors - great finds!  I have all the RAK series but none in these colors!  :->

Here is my favorite, the UNIMOG:

Ah yes, the Unimog, also one of the 3 others I have (the two remaining is an Audi 100 Coupe and a Ford Capri Mk I... also have a 2009 reissue Opel Manta A, but that doesn't really count, does it)

There are so many great cars in this range, many of them quite unusual for diecasts. Not really hard to find, but usually very expensive, so patience is a virtue when trying to add to the collection.

Oh, by the way, did you see my recent Alfa-thread?
