purchased this on ebay (24/5/12) arrived today  (28).

this picture the vendor used to sell it






discribed as a restored spot on hillman minx this is what turned up today ,i was the only bidder payed £10.50 (8.00 plus post 2.50) the picture did it no favours.






it is to make up a set of all the real cars i have owned.

You did well there, took a chance and made a killing, its been restored but in reality on Spot on, restoration does not really affect the value of unboxed items, the bumpers front and back would have set you back a £5.00..and these are the correct number plates, all you need is the GB sticker to set it off... Well done....

Very  nice I must say. I've been watching Spot On items but Im using my will power and not buying too much until some progress is made with current stuff.

That's really a sensational price, wow! But the seller has only himself to blame for the low price, cause that auction photo is really a disaster! I really don't understand how one's self criticism can be so completely absent when trying to sell something online - it's almost certain to backfire.


But very, very lucky for you... you won the lottery with this one!

Maybe the seller needs to replace the batteries in his camera

Hi could not belive it myself
it did not matter if it needed to be restored as the price was right .
my real car colour was dove grey ( like battleship grey) but i will not be repainting it as it is a hillman colour it is painted in.
