Is there a bit of Matchbox copying going on with the tampo on the corsair fire cheif? Nice models by the way.

I gather these are the larger scale lone Star, about 1:43?

These are about 1/64-ish scale, Scruffyhippo, the 1/43 Lone Stars are actually far less detailed!

Actually, I got another one the other day too, the Taunus in its final version without the opening bonnet and boot, finished in purple. This one isn't perfect, but is better than the example I had.

Frame.

They do tend to be a bit few and far between - I try to take them where I can get them (when they're not too pricy!) The green one was a nice surprise in a badly-described eBay lot.

Yes those Lone Star flyers do seem to be far between from time to time. Just have to be lucky.
