Since Greendolly posted his Spark Jaguar XJ12C touring car i wanted one myself. But not to copy him and get the same car i got the other one, and wow what a model she is.

When i read the Spark models website they are made of resin so my first ever resn made car.

The detail on this car is superb well has to be for £38.99.

Now the other version of this model is on my list but will wait till i can get one cheaper than £50.

Oh she is a beast of a machine. Not quite sure what the things are for on the trunk.

That's a quick fill into the gas tanks. You see then in the pits with pitcrews shoving these big nozzles into the racecars

What an awesome model!!! Looks like the grille and air intake are real metal and there's even som tiny 'thingys' in the upper corners of the air intake, wonder what they are? Hinges or possibly tow eyes?

With a model like this, you can never get close enough with the camera... there's always more to discover the closer you get. If possible, could you provide a super-closeup of just the grille/air intake area?

Would also be a treat to get a closer look at the interior, but that's probably not possible, I guess: dark interiors are always extremely tricky to capture.

I'm also fortunate enough to own one model from Spark. Bought a year ago and it cost me only appr. £10 including shipping! It's a Porsche 911 GT3 RSR as driven in Le Mans 2005 by Nielsen, Thyrring and Ehret. I love that model, and have it strategically placed so it's easy to admire... something I do almost daily. I wonder if the same thing is going to happen to you? For some strange reason I've never taken any photos, so only have two really blurry ones from the auction I won.

Teebodk could be quick release clips there are two at the top of the bonnet as well .because the whole front is light weight fiberglass .

Yes Richard is right they are tow hooks they are on the front and back.

Hey Tee i think you got a bargain with that lovely Porsche. I had to shop overseas for my Jag as it was about £12 cheaper than buying in the UK.

I agree that Porsche was a bargain, sadly I've never found any others even getting near that price. With quality like Spark's it really doesn't matter if the car represented is a favorite or not, it would still have that 'wow'-factor.

Mine was used (display only), but this was what made it so special: because of the price tags on Spark models, people tend to think twice before buying, so almost every purchase is well considered and 'for life' - in other words: very few used Spark models are offered for sale, and the few that are, usually sell from pros, asking premium, fixed prices (probably bought as part of complete collections)
