that is the little yellow lift station truck I gave to Tracy, She fell in love with it. I just have to find a platform for the top is all.

And the gold Citroën DS Safari is slightly bigger than my other fleet.

Interesting that there would be a size difference. Are they the same series or is one Husky and the other Juniors?

I have just won my first purchase of the year. A Mighty Antar Cab only. Princely sum of £5.50 plus £4.50 for shipping. Not too bad and I have a project in mind for it too.

yes, both Husky. The bigger one has the dog on a diecast chassis.

the smaller ones have  the flimsy plastic suspension chassis.

That is interesting that they would make a whole new casting just to put a dog in the back.

I got one of the Husky tankers last year, made a total fist of it, I did not realize/know that the front section was plastic so I covered it in paint remover, disaster the whole thing melted into a glutinous blob, will not do that again, Not really into small scale prefer 1:64 or mainly 1:50

I have no idea why or when the larger scales came about.

The bigger ones also had differing wheels, detailed hubs with tires, instead of the dark grey plastic wheels.

Used to be quite hard to find Husky models, but my small collection of these are filling major gaps.

I am finally getting the first toys of the year arriving.

First off is a 660 Dinky Thornycroft Mighty Antar, cab only, that I wanted for a project. $16.00 delivered.

Next is something Richard pointed out one nite a while ago when we were sufing looking for toy. Him in New Zealand and me in BC Canada and we passed links back anf forth. I think that is where he got the MGTC from in another thread.

Anyway, without further adue. I like Trams

YY-15 Preston Tramcar, Mint in box

Next are a couple of Matchbox DY series cars, First the DY-22B Citroen 15CV in white. Mint in Box again.

Lastly I have the 1949 Land Rover in AA livery, The short wheelbase model I have been looking for for sometime. DY-9B
This is a mint in mint box model. It even came with the original tissue paper wrap over the box. That would be a dealers shipping box he received from the factory, wrapped for potection so the windows  and box card does not get scuffed during shipping, That was a first for me.

These 3 all came for a deal out of the USA for $48.00 shipped, not bad if you ask me.

Kewl. Really like the Rover, and the tram is definitely different.

Ya, the Rover is great and I have been looking for a good one for a while. If you take the plactic canopy off the rear there is another spare tire mounted behind the front seats and there are 2 benchs,  one along either side.

Richard Turned me on to this seller.
