Hi all. This is what I've been doing for a few weeks...

I made this from waste items from the big layout downstairs.

A mock up of a possible viaduct

Getting rid of paper mache hill the easy way.

This has been altered and now I feel its taking shape.

A few short videos, not a bad result so far from scrap stuff I though. Its also a little practise run before I carry on with the big one.

=

Have a good evening....Frame.

This looks great, is not too large, and is coming along nicely. Trains almost sound real too. Nice touch.

Thanks Jim,I thought they sounded pretty good too. Its probably because they are well worn and sound a bit growly. Nice!  I have an old Lima 37 which almost vibrates itself of the track but sounds and looks great hammering around a mainline.  Hopefully have this finished enough to leave running in the alleyway outside my house in summer with a charity box near it.

Cheers,Frame.

Looking good Frame, must think about getting started with my layout at some point. Lacking space at the moment, need a garage or big shed.

Thanks for the reply. My girlfriend promised me any room in the house if I behaved when my pub ban was lifted,I did behave and now have most of the house!  Downstairs room where my big layout is measures about 30 foot by 9 foot.

Which gauge are you using?
