Seems nobody knows. All the pages I looked at said pretty much the same thing that this article says.


I find it interesting that the background looks the same even though the bus is flipped.

its a lot smaller than you might think.

the reason why no one has seen this ATAT-VW in the country side is because its at least 5-10 inches tall.

not sure of the scale but that just depends on the scale model kitset of the AT-AT used.

I suspect the bus is scale 1/24. It would need to be a light plastic kitset too because a diecast would be too heavy.

Yeah...but I should have seen that. I figured it was just a unique piece of commissioned art sitting on a large concrete pedestal. Lo and behold it's a model sitting on a ledge. Very cool nonetheless.
