eBay has mucked around with the fee structure again. Now it\'s free to list any auction item with a start price of under £1.00, but the final value fee has gone up to 10%. Another step in the Amazonization, auction-eliminating process they seem hellbent on going on. 

Yes I fell for that one here in Australia free listing fees for starting price of .99 cents but the other fees went up so nothing has changed. So we are out of pocket still if only one bidder and the item listed only sells for a dollar. Ooh well that is life I guess.

No price changes here in Canada on eBay. My store, I can list for 4¢ and place as many items as I want for that price, wither it be 1 or 100 same listing fee. Final Value is up there though as an $8 item gets charged about $1.15 and then don\'t forget about Pay Pal. They take 59¢ off the top first when you take payment through them. 
So, anyway you look at it you have to pay upwards of about 20% when you wrap it all up. Sometimes it is tough to make a buck out there. One sale at a time. I like it when a customer buys 4 or 5 items, saves me postage on them.

Hi Baskingshark. I ended up selling some die-cast matchbox on eBay and I was out of pocket when comparing the listing fees against the sale price. I might as well gave them to the local charity shop as a donation and saved my money.
