This be my second (on the right) and its a green painted wingnut on a copper tread with a green painted press in a red surround.
Initially a fishing tool promoted by Milbro and produced by Lesney at a time when the early Moko's were produced. Car door handles and other small casts were made during this brief period until they began to make toy cars all the time. Still, this unusual Lesney is easy to collect for a reasonable price if only for its famous patented name.  |
