Hello Joschik,

I tried to contact Alan Hickling Toy forts site and although I can reach the website I cannot get an email c/w photos through. Would you mind advising of an email address so I  can send him some photos? Incidentally re-reading my previous post some of you may wonder what assewmbleding is, well it is the ancient art of assembling old castle kits and is much harder than just merely assembling them.

Thanks to Joschik and Karl this whole castle issue is really taking off for me. I have been reading Douglas Millers article on working for Elastolin and Josef Tonns work with dioramas. I cannot get through to Allen Hicklings Toy fort site, just too hard to make contact but I have established links with several other castle devotees and information is coming in from all over.

Yes, that is the article. Things are happening quickly now - I have found our copy of the 1980 Elastolin catalog and remember that one of my sons has a number of Elastolin figures as well as a siege tower. He will bring them over shortly and we will photograph all of our Elastolin collection which I had completely forgotten about. And now that I have found out about the castle it is not too bad a collection at that. Thanks Karl
