Hello:

I just joined the site and wanted to let any members/viewers know that I\'m an avid collector of ((OLD MARBLES)) and may be interested in buying certain types at a reasonable price.

I have an extensive collection and have studied marbles for sometime and though I\'m NO expert by any means I will try and help in anyway I can on the subject of marbles. For example: how to identify the difference between handmade & machine made, the companys who made them, how to grade between mint, near mint (plus or minus) and collectable and how to correctly size them.

So please feel free to drop me a note if you need information or have any additional information for me.Also if you have any reasonably priced marbles for sale.LETS TALK MARBLES !!!

When I was little I had lots of marbles, most of those were from when my mum was young. She had a good eye and won hundreds of them.

You\'ve got the standard marble that\'s about a centimeter cross ways.

The \'bonker\' is twice the size of the standard marble.

And the Peewee (we used to call them Mimi\'s as kids) was half the size of a standard marble.

My mum kept most of them for her grankids as me and my siblings lost interest, so not sure if we still have any.
