This first pic is how it used to look!

It now has Corgi rims and tyres, modified exhausts, chopped rear guards, Corgi turntable and Corgi bottom dumper!

What an amazing transformation. Of course the new paint has made a huge difference, but to me it's the Corgi wheels that really takes this model to a new level - it now looks like a classic and very collectable Corgi, not an anonymous kid's toy.

Were the Corgi wheels easy to fit? This switch really gives food for thought as it has made such an amazing difference.

Thanks for the comments guys, yes the Corgi wheels and axles were easy to fit just a bit of filing I chopped the guards to make them fit!

That Ford cab is also great and yues, the hubs make a big difference.

Tee, the only issue in my opinion could be the thickness of the axles. The Superfast axles are almost as thin as a needle, whereas the older axles are appr. 1.5 - 2mm in diameter. But a small round file could do the trick

I especially like the MACK truck I have 15 of these, I have done a couple of them, I sort of ran out of ideas, yours look really ace, I have a spare cab and bonnet/ hood if anyone needs one and the chassis but not he engine section.
