I used an old AEC BRS tractor unit I had here with no cab interior and front axle.Cam used a Dinky 428 front axle with the single wheels for his dolly but the axle is a lot narrower.The dolly is  held together with blue tack at the moment untill I decide what colour to paint it I,ve got a spare tanker,BRS and Hire co trailer,so I,ve got plenty to mix and match!

I didnt take any during shots of this but I,m going to do another chop very soon, I cut the chassis behind the cab removed the diesel tank,then bent and shortened the base plate so it hides the plastic coupling inside of the chassis and gives it a more finished look! The coupling works just as it does with the AEC tractor!
The draw bar is just a bit of wire I had on the bench!
 

Certainly looks the part. What did you cut up to make the dolly? Creative use of spare parts, going to go for a set of doubles or use it as a pull trailer?

That must have taken some courage to cut it up or it must have been a bad wreck. Is it an AEC cab, looks creative.

The right click menu with Copy and Paste doed now work here. You have to use Ctrl+C for Copy and Ctrl+V for paste. Just highlight first.
