Semis, artics, pickups, vans, road trains - whatever they are and whatever you call them, if they're used to transport stuff, here's where to talk about them.

Corgi Scammell Crusader cab over custom. Repainted into the paint livery of my On30 logging railroad, converted to left hand drive, and added the air horns and outside sun visor.

How did I miss this one. Nice truck Rob and your sunvisor fits the bill. Did you take it from another model or make it yourself?

Thank you. The Scammell is a favorite of mine. Reminds me of the F model Mack cabovers from the 60s and 70s. The visor is a plastic piece i made for this truck. The most difficult part of the build was the interior conversion from RHD to LHD. While researching the project, I found pics of both right and left hand drive trucks, so I went with LHD. When I get the chance to start on the On30 layout, it will pull a low loader.

The Crusaders were part of the Dutch scenery in the 1970s, aswell as the Handyman

Thanks Richard

I have never spotted them. Most of the trucks I saw on a regular basis were DAF, Volvo and Scania.

They were always lining up at the sugar mill were we lived next to, to deliver the suger beet
