Welcome to PD, hope you'll enjoy it here. In order for your photo uploads to work, make sure the filenames don't conatain any special characters and - this is the problem with your photos - the extension names must be jpg, NOT jpeg. You don't have to resave as jpg, simply changing the file extension before uploading will be enough.

Hi Tee, I seem to have a problem with a scanner because the only setting on it is "jpeg" and "jpg" can't be loaded, how do I change the setting. I have scanned items like this before and haven't had the problem

The information on google seems to suggest that both of these are the same and because I use Mac it becomes jpeg.

Yes, I think they're the same, but it seems like the PD-engine doesn't like the jpeg extension. On the pc you can manually change extensions, but I have no idea how it works on a mac.

Also, for (pc) users who have the function "hide extensions for known filetypes" turned on, you need to turn it off in order to see (and change) the extension. I tried renaming without turning it off, but this only resulted in files with double extensions like "filename.jpg.jpeg"

If it has worked for you earlier, it's a bit strange.

I think I get it, this site just doesn't like the "e" in jpeg. I tried another photo in another thread and just changed the setting in my files and it's all good.
