Yes, we know it's a little bit of a contradiction in terms, but here's where you can talk about Norev, Minialuxe, Siku, Polistil, Tomte, Auburn, Sun Rubber or any other ready-made model car that's made of plastic or rubber. Hey, they're still cast in dies!

Andy, are you missing the 'NEWBRIGHT' version.

This is a crude copy of the Corgi Toys model and part of a 6 car range as detailed below.

Austin Mini...
Mk1, Ford Cortina Estate...
Rover P6, 2000...
Jaguar Mk10...
MkIV, Ford Zodiac...
Vauxhall Victor 'FC' 101...

All have clear glazing, soft suspension using a system similar to mid-60's "Matchbox" 1-75 series models, chrome plated copies of 'NOREV' wheel rims with soft nylon based tyres and plastic seat mouldings.

Myself and a Jaguar toy specialist believe these originate from ''Blue-Box''.

They are quite hard to find whichever issue you look for (original flat tray marketed versions, blister carded 'FLEETWOOD TOYS' versions or the above 'NEWBRIGHT' blister carded versions).

They are the models and you have the Vauxhall Victor 101. In the 1960's, I originally had the Rover, Vauxhall, Jaguar and the Cortina.

I allways thought I sold the Jaguar at a toy fair more recently and decided I wanted it again so had to source one from a another toy fair, which I did and this made me very happy and will never sell this one!

The Vauxhall I 'Pimped' into a Rolls-Royce. It servived into the early 1980's but has since been lost in long term storage in a shed!

The Rover (I actually had Three of these, all in Cream), stayed as standard as far as I can remember and these also servived into the early 1980's and may be in storage in the same place as the Vauxhall/Rolls and there is a chance these will be found in the near future. If I do find them and there is still a Rover existing, its is yours Andy, OK.

I got this today & through my knowledge of collecting plastic over the years I only have a vague memory of seeing a box for it. It is a Morris LD Royal Mail van & i can not find any information on it at all. The model is 7" long & has opening rear doors although one has been glued shut & I re-fitted the other as it was un-attached. The model is marked "Very" in the Telsalda triangle on base & I have not heard of this....Rollerman have you? it has a driver & the Royal Crest is a separate piece of plastic.

hope you all enjoy seeing this, as it as very rare piece of Hong Kong plastic at it's best

Hi Andy.

I think you will find it says...'VENY'.

Veny are very obscure, I have virtually nothing on them. I do know they have marketed a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow 4 door saloon and a Mercedes-Benz 600 'Pullman'. The Mercedes appears to be the same model as marketed by Lucky Toys as shown below, so this is another company sourcing models from more well established toy makers.

Thanks Rollerman, sorry I meant to type "Veny" in but mind was set on "very", I have researched this model but I did not find any details even by entering it as Telsalda, it is a great model & I am glad i got it.
