Yes, we know it's a little bit of a contradiction in terms, but here's where you can talk about Norev, Minialuxe, Siku, Polistil, Tomte, Auburn, Sun Rubber or any other ready-made model car that's made of plastic or rubber. Hey, they're still cast in dies!

Id like to point out that everybody seems to think that the green cars are rare but in reality unless its very dark green as in british racing green they are no harder to find than pretty much any other color. the dark green cars were issued the same time as the rare white toys and equally super rare. I find the later cars are harder to find in orange although several were never made in orange i.e renault 5, renault 12, volvo estate, vw beetle (not police car),alfa p33 there are more to list but its late and i need my bed so ill carry on later if anyones interested.

I would be interested in a database of these toys such as what is available and in what colours. I am just starting out collecting them. I would also be very interested in making a deal for any extras anyone has as I only have one so far

Thanks for any info you can send me.

Thanks Tomte, I have used that page and site as a good reference to the models. As for the XL database, I run a Mac and haven't had a lot of luck with converting XL files to Numbers files. I will work on compiling one here. I have set up a page on my website for these models, but it is pretty barren as of yet. I do hope to expand as I get more models. I have 4 coming in the mail I got off the bay, and I really hope to score some on my trip across Canada. We are going for 2 months leaving this Friday, July 6th.

Jim, I hope to be able to see you some time in August as we return through Midway. Take care all, and thanks for all your information and help.

That would work as I have to be back at work September 6th. We should be through Midway around the last week of August.

That sounds like a plan to me. I will be unavailable for most of September so late August is perfect. Let me know when you get to Midway and we can arrange to meet, probably here again.
