Corrosion on that refuse truck will eat it up eventually. That should be restored. The bus is not too bad. Bent front axle too.
Thanks for showing.

I have just replaced my Parsley Lion car & was lucky to get an original box for it.

I also got this nice Opel Commodore which I always wanted as a kid but never got.

Not seen the Parsleys car before and those Commodores are lovely, I have one in my collection too - originally a French Dinky casting - excellent finds!

Thats one nice Opel! One I feel should have had better wheels fitted. The Parsley car is a nice one too.

One for my wishlist for sure.

Parsley the Lion was from "The Herb Garden" other characters in it were Sage the owl , Lady Rosemarie , Sir Basil ,Balief the gardener & a few more which I don't remember their names, I remember Sage the owl always said "Tawicktawoo".

I got this lot of Dinky's with the Corgi lot, I had my eye on the Standard Vanguard as it had been cut to a pick up , so i finished it off & now have a Ute.

Great job on the UTE, that is unique and nice to see, thanks for showing. You also did a great job on the tin base. Can I ask you what paint you used? It does not look glossy but more flat or satin.

The paint is this & I buy it from the pound shop. the cans are very thin & when you shake them the ball bearings dent the can. The thing about it is the more coats you give the shinier it gets & i lightly coat the bases so as the writing stands out hence the satin finish.
It is also rare for me to spray a base as i normally leave them play worn.

Good job finishing the Vanguard Ute, not too far from the real thing.

Thanks Dinkydi, i looked at this picture & I also looked at a British registered one which I copied the colour & copied the square no. plate on back, I may change the colour of the Tono Cover.

I finished the Ute off today, changing the colour of the Tono cover as the blue was too shiney & did not suit, I then lined the rear of the pick up & made the cover so as it comes off, I also replaced the split screen pillar which the last owner cut out & painted it matt black as it is on the one I have modeled it on.

I ordered a white metal replacement bed & tyres for the Leyland Octopus today so I made a start on it.
