No, not a Lagonda. I think we have to stop now, before it gets to far off topic.

Those real life images of the Willeme Articulated truck (tractor) that Dinky modelled their version the Number 36B do look big alongside those Truckee drivers.

Found some images in one of the many books "Classic Cars" Salamander Books Ltd on the Riley Nines, Lynx, Imp, MPH and Sprites built in the 1930's. The one in blue is the 1934 Riley MPH and only 15 of these were ever made. The one in red is the Riley Sprite of 1936 shows some of the breakaway from the conventional styling of the past models.

Had to download some images into my gallery to see how good the new vamped TC is working. Apart from anything my CP is running like a lost ship in the fog and has just bounce of a reef by the feel on things to be able to compare the new TC with the old. At least I can now use my spell check for a change.

Look like of the the Comp doctor it goes.

Hello Mr. Werner, a Dinky that may have made the drawing board but did not make it to the final process. We really don't know because there were so many possibilities as we now see. Any way, another saved DINKY.

From the Real World a FODEN Chinese Six .........

.......and from the Toy World, a DINKY SUPERTOY Code 3 FODEN Beer delivery Truck.

Decals furnished by NOBLECO, Thanks Jim.

Delivery mode first..............

Hello Jan

The plane is a Bristol Superfreighter and I remember
that English friends flew back to England with their Austin Maxi
in it.

regards
Jan Willem

Erwin, glad the decals worked for you. The truck really looks good and the decals make an impression alright. Glad I could help you out.

Yes I now remember this one Bristol Super-freighter as there is one at the Point Cook airbase museum on show and also can still fly on special occasions. Must go back and have another look great place to spend an afternoon.

That's a great help, I found this picture of the real 'Air Ferry' on the internet!

OK, it's not a Dinky Toy:

Do I see 'CD'? It was an expensive trip, no doubt!

So there is a kind of Dinky Toy! The rear end of a Morris Minor!

That should be the Morris Oxford of course:

Kind regards, Jan

That is a clean looking Morris Oxford Jan. The Morris entering looks as if it has the rap around rear window then it could be some shadow. But it is definitely a Morris.

Best I can do with this Dinky Morris 1100 that entered the market in 1963

Above is the assembly line at Austin Longbridge

A Quick google search brought this Austin 1100 up. I had one back in about 1965 or 1966 just like this, White and all.

The assembly line image that I had depicted came from "Cars Cars Cars Cars by SCH Davis and published by Paul Hamlyn Ltd in 1967. Selected history on cars of that period and somewhat early too right back to the start of all things that purr.
