Here we go, nice win for very cheap and right here in BC Canada. Bentley S2 and a 117 4 berth Caravan. Someone has repainted them (if I can call it that) in a ghastly silver paint. You be the judge, should I redo them or display them?

Forgot to mention, they are $15.16 Canadian shipped to the PO Box.

Very talented painter, I would say, and very generous with the paint, painting almost everything. Can you imagine this happening in real life? You ask a pro company to paint your car, get back and find that they've painted not just the body but also the interior, tires and windows.

If you're really lucky it's the type of paint that comes off easily and you just might find good paint underneath.

Well, they've clearly been done by a kid, and with kids you never know. I (shame on me) sometimes overpainted cars in reasonably good condition, simply because I wanted to see what they would look like in certain colors.

Looks they might have been watching Ralf Harries painting with a six inch brush. Trust British Paints you can and tie my kangaroo down sport.

I shall see what happens when I use the parts degreaser on them That  is much slower than my paint stripper. That takes all off right now.

I vote for a repaint.....they will look much better when you do your usual great job with the right colors....I would go for it!

They are indeed in a sorry state. They are in the line up and I will see what I do when I get to them in January or February. At least I hope to get to them by then but I keep receiving toys from customers so they go to the back burner, so to speak. Along with the other 15 or 20 I want to do for myself

You are lucky, you get a lot of paint free. Any way those models are well protected against corrosion (fatigue) all they deserve is a good bath in acetone. Please show us how they end up.

I don't know Cam, maybe both. First Dipped and then the excess brushed off, trying not to get white and blue on the silver. Not to mention the windows.

How do you dare to criticize these models ? They are contemporary art, they should be bought by the New Tate.

Thank you Dinkycollect, you gave me a hearty laugh like I have not had for a while. I should send them off to Vectis for auction in the new year. Contemporary Art, as you say.
