That is it, as far as the rescue is concerned only things missing are, a canopy, one spare wheel assuming they had spare wheels,if not then I have a spare spare wheel and a cross head screw, I tried all the tools and hardwear shops in the area but they dont have anything that small, I have decals for the one without a canopy, not really sure what to do with these two now as they don\'t fit into anything that I currently have in the Military collection, wrong scale entirely, not much of interest in the rest of the box of bits, a lot is smashed and most is not related to die cast toys at all probably came out of somebody\'s garage, mostly old tools but at least I got a large collection of sharpened drill bits so it was worth £5.00, The last one that I had of these, again with no canopy I swapped for a 25 pdr field gun, I will take it to the trade fair this weekend and see what i can get for it

Still have not been able to find a canopy. Did not sell it after all, there was a canopy in the broken box of one of the sellers at a recent toy fair, but it really was broken had obviously been stood on and the guy wanted £3 for it I offered hin 50p.
I dont really know what i could have done with it in retrospect as a chunk was missing, it is a bit like the 666 cogs .....one day

nice job on that Foden.

I recently managed to find one too for a reasonable price simply to fill an original box I have had since 2010. The reason I got the box was because the seller had separated both. I lost the truck but got the box.

What I needed was a truck with most of the bits and its only missing its rear tailboard.

No rush. Unless you know someone with a spare tailboard.

Thanks Dinkyboy. Of course the funny thing is that when i got the box of bits I had not the slightest idea what I had.

It was a bit like getting a bag of jigsaw puzzle bits

In the first picture I did not put the whole heap of bits this was just a representative selection.

In a surprising twist of fate I found out how the truck ended up in such a parlous state, they were dismantled by a ten year old kid, who got them at a car boot sale and he intended to repaint them, thank goodness he didn't, the bits got thrown into a box in the garage when he lost interest

Canopy is not available unless it fits another model. Nothing listed. I can get the window unit, plastic tail gate and the black plastic front bumper and front Doors.

It is nearly 19 months since I first posted this and have been to at least 50 toyfairs and carboot sales

If the truth be known, apart from the odd boxed Foden I have not seen many about for some time, a bit like the Crane fruehauf, a few months ago there were suddenly a lot about you could buy some reasonable to good sets for £1, maybe there is a time of year when people have a good clear out, hopefully that Foden moment is approaching.

Nobleco, Jim the presentation jumps around every time I go to a new Topic. When the new Topic is opened, the pictures go to the last post, then jump to the top of the page current page of the new topic. I do not remember this happening before.
Additionally, I unsubscribe to the post when leaving, but my email is flooded with TC's and have pages since logging out. My bride is annoyed and I can not figure out what I am doing wrong avoid the emails.........HELP! dinkyboy
