It looks really good, and for that price it was a steal! Regarding the grille, you should be able to get a donor for next to nothing. Matchbox used this tractor for a number of models and I've seen them offered as wrecks quite often. Sometimes you only get the tractor and very often the paint, windows and/or suspension is gone. Best value for money would, of course, be to get it as part of a job lot.

I'm pretty sure I have one or two of these somewhere (with a long tipper trailer), but once again I find that despite spending ages every day taking photos, the one I need does not exist and the model is not on display, so I guess it's in a bed-roller somewhere.

paid £1.75 for this, this morning in really good condition for price probably replace decals on the trailer

The grill is missing from the tractor, can't find that as a replacement part in catalogue, I also cant find a picture of the front so i am not too sure what it should look like to fabricate a replacement, .

Picture please, or a grill would be nice, the front is not distorted I did not shut the Bonnet/Hood properly

I have a spare grill for one of these, in fact I have four cab units but only rebuilding three, so have a grill going begging, will also upload a picture of my mint version which will also show the pipes that fit on the side.

The decals I have made myself using white gloss sticker paper and an image from Google

Trailer looks to be in good condition. I remember having one for xmas years ago,it came with black fuel pipes which clipped in the sides.

Decals are no problemI have been making these in various mediums for a number of years, have to suss out some pipes for the trailer, didn't know they existed.

maybe Scruffyhippo we can come to some arrangement over the grill?? although it does not look too difficult a job to manufacture one

Will be looking forward for the finished result after some repairs have been completed. Still the Loui was a good buy. Can do lots with them too.

This Loui conversion was being test long before I joined TC and I was using an old film type avagerage camra and got too close to the subject.
