If I could give this book higher than 5's, I'd do it. It is quite a bit larger than other Ship Craft books (128 vs 64 pages) and the artwork alone is worth the price, not to even mention the models themselves. Probably the only think lacking are reviews of the EXTENSIVE 1/72 casting and photo-etched detail parts now available. I guess an author can be forgiven for not including these, I have a couple of the 1/72 kits and priced out the detail parts for one boat. If I were to obtain all of the parts, my cost would be around $390 US. The kit by Revell wa sonly $40.
This book is outstanding!
