Jeep Commando
1972 Jeep Commando Fire Department service vehicle
this is a 72 Jeep Commando in my scale Fire Department. It is builtfrom an Old 'Hombre' issue of the MPC kit, with the snow plowattachment from the Origianl 1972 Annual issue. The Light rack is based on one from the Original 72 issue with the mounts from a Jo-Han rack. The Double-end lights are from the Monogram Cop Out Funny car. The Rotator is a Jo-Han base, scratchbuilt rotator lamp and Cop out dome. The Siren on the front bumper is also from the Jo-Han Fury police kit the Jeep Hubcaps are from the Original 1972 issue. I do want to find acurate scale link chain to replace the jewelery link on it now.

With over 3 feet of snow in the last few days I could use a truck like this right now. Nice build and I like the plow addition. Do you have other attachments? Fork lift, Man box, etc.
Your scenes are great, again just needs tweeking. Jim

This also looks good in fire livery - it's such a clean lookin design it'd look good in most colors! nice build!
