1938 Willys coupe hand built body from kit and from handcast resin nose

First let me say that I saw this Willys in the Model of the month contest. And i think it was unduly critisized as having too much "add-on" parts. I beg to differ. Seems that one key fact was glossed over. In that many of the aluminum part he turned by hand HIMSELF!!!Yes there are aftermarket parts on it, bu8t thefact that he made the parts himself speaks volumes of dedication and attention to detail. If the photo backgrounds were different, you likely would be hard pressed to tell this '38 from the read deal!! You have skills and paitence i wish i had! BRAVO!!
BTW, I am looking for an old style Revell Willys with the opening doors and trunk. Unbuilt kit preferred. You all know how to find me!! LOL!!

Man, this one's incredible! Super-amazing detail levels, i'm not surprised it took you so long. I'd really like to have seena shot of the nose from the front tho, cos i've never seen fenders like those before and i'm really interested to see what they look like head-on or in a 3/4 shot where you cans ee the grilll

I had to look over all models today before leaving and this car has lots of extra work and custom and time put into it . I have to upgrade my reveiw to an excellent model made with lots of time and custom features put in .

Extremely well crafted custom build. Lots of difficult extras . I think this model is splendid and a job well done .
