Ferrari 458 Italia
|Model Type||Vehicle - Passenger Car|
|Manufacturer's Reference Number||85-4912|
Ferrari’s swoopy looking Italia is the successor to the F430. This car has a rear engine layout, with a 4.5 liter V8 churning out 570 hp and is reportedly capable of speeds over 200 mph.
The body sports all sort of separate parts - scoops, panel vents, and winglets; in other words, all the geegaws and doodads that make this a Ferrari. The engine cover is hinges, held in place by the engine compartment. Lenses have chrome bezels
Inside is a two piece dashboard with separate steering wheel and shift paddles. Dash instruments are on the decal sheet. There is a separate headliner which holds the rear view mirror in place.
The suspension looks well detailed yet solid. Like the California kit, the wheels are two parts which trap the disc brake between them, and ride on low profile tires. Inner fenders are separate parts. On the decal sheet are body emblems, wheel centers, engine decals, two sets of European license plates, and two sets of American plates, which are undersized.
