Matchbox first introduced its 1:61 scale version of the stylish '08 Honda Civic Type R compact sedan, casting #MB753, in 2008 as #26. For 2009, it has been issued in yellow with black interior.
The model provided for this review is packaged in a 4-1/2" square
international blisterpack P6555, but is otherwise identical to its U.S. counterpart issued in a 6-1/2" x 4-1/2" blisterpack P6530. Details include printed headlights and taillights, with black plastic base and interior. Wheels are trimmed with muted silver hubs that emulate low-profile rims.
