Slammed 69 Cougar Eliminator
This is HW's first model of a 69 Cougar. They previously made the 67 in their original Redlines series in 68 as the Custom Cougar (which was then changed into the Nitty Gritty Kitty with no hood) and have a nice more recent casting of a 66. This model is of the special hi-po Eliminator with back spoiler and side graphics. HW did a nice job with the casting and the tampo stripes and front cougar logo look great. The spoiler is accurate but a little plastic-looking (it is made of plastic) and its too bad the front spoiler is chrome like the base, but this isnt really a big deal.
The blue color is great and is authentic because Cougar Eliminators only came in a few colors and one of them was blue with white stripes. HW have slammed the car and put big rear wheels on. Its not slammed too low, but would look better with samesize wheels like their 66.
